Custom Ceramic Wall Hooks for Clalit Health Services

A prime example of this is this project we did for Clalit Health Services, which was led by the talented architects Yuval and Andy Simcha. Their vision for Clalit’s new branches focused on incorporating tailored, elegant wall hooks to reflect the brand’s essence.

The Beginning

This project began with a clear request from the architects, to create wall hooks that matched Clalit Health Services' brand colors. The aim was straightforward but impactful: design wall hooks that served a practical purpose while enhancing the overall aesthetic of the new branches.

Crafting the Perfect Model and Color Palette

First we have designed a model, which its shape determined how all wall hooks would look. Then personalizing the wall hooks according to the brand's colors in our studio involved creating distinctive ceramic colors. To achieve the desired shades, we sourced high-quality pigments and mixed in many different tests in order to get our desired result. A critical factor was the kiln temperature, as proper firing significantly affected the final finish and hue, a slight change in temperature could result in variation in shade.

Molding Our Vision

Once the colors were established, we proceeded to create plaster molds for our wall hooks model. This phase was particularly fascinating, as our artistic vision began to take form.

Using the molds, we carefully crafted hundreds of wall hooks, ensuring durability and elegance in each piece. This process allowed us to refine our techniques, pushing the boundaries of traditional ceramic craftsmanship. The result was a stunning collection, with each piece reflecting the unique blend of functionality and artistry we aimed to achieve.
